Refund & Cancellation Policy

Draft for legal review. Confirm the windows and amounts below are what you want to offer and that they meet Consumer Protection Act 2019 and Dodo Payments' merchant requirements.

This policy covers the paid Pro subscription to Poker Night. Poker Night is a digital service. There is nothing to ship.

1. Try before you pay

The Free plan lets you use the core of Poker Night at no cost and with no payment details. We encourage you to use it before subscribing to Pro.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Billing in the app, or by emailing support@poker-study.com.
Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal.
Your Pro features stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that your account moves to the Free plan. Your data is not deleted; anything over a Free-plan limit stays on your device and can be exported.

3. Refunds

Situation	What we do
You cancel a monthly plan mid-cycle	No refund for the current month; access continues until period end. Future renewals stop.
You cancel an annual plan within 7 days of the first payment or a renewal, and have made only minimal use	Full refund of that payment.
You cancel an annual plan after that window	Pro-rated refund of the unused whole months, at our discretion, less any payment-processing fees that are not returned to us.
Duplicate charge, or you were charged after a valid cancellation	Full refund of the incorrect charge.
The Service was materially unavailable or broken for an extended period and we could not fix it	Pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.
Your account is terminated for breach of the Terms	No refund.

4. How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Dodo Payments.
Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 3 business days and reach your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
We refund in the original currency and amount received; we are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or bank charges applied by your provider.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@poker-study.com from the address on your account, with the payment date and the Dodo payment ID (from your receipt) if you have it. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
